The new TADHouse located at 185 Briens Road, Northmead.

TADNSW has now settled into our new premises in Northmead, purchased on our behalf by the TADFoundation.

Two properties, Units 9 and 10, 185 Briens Rd, Northmead, part of a new industrial complex, were purchased in mid 2007. The larger of the two units, Unit 10, has an area of almost 1000 sq m and is currently occupied by TADNSW.

The new building provides the necessary space for the delivery of our services: Custom Designed Aids, FREEDOM WHEELS, the TAD Gale Computer Support Service and the George Winston Communication Service.

Unit 9 has an area of just under 400 sq m and will provide expansion space as our services grow. It is currently occupied by a tenant but will later be available for our own use.

Northmead is an ideal location, situated near the geographical centre of Sydney and conveniently located for clients, volunteers and staff. Public transport is available via train and bus and there is easy access to major motorways.

Members of the TADFoundation were busy behind the scenes campaigning for funds to make this possible, and managed to raise more than $2.5 million. Generous support from long-time donors and donations-in-kind from suppliers helped make our move a reality.
