Services

TADNSW has three services:

 

The Custom Designed Aids Service designs and constructs devices that are not commercially available for people with disabilities from all age groups. Go to the Assistive Devices section for more information.

 

Freedom Wheels is a popular service that creates the highly customised bikes that allow people with a disability, mostly children to ride a bike. Go to the Freedom Wheels section for more information.

 

The Computer Support Service refurbishes donated computers and makes them available for purchase to people with disabilities. Go to the Computers section for more information.

 

The George Winston Communications Service is responsible for communicating "the TAD story" to disability networks, stakeholders and the general public. Go to the Communications section for more information.

 

TADAid Book 2006

This special edition of the TAD Journal highlights some of the custom-designed aids projects completed between 2002 and 2005. It shows therapists, health care workers and people with disabilities the range of possibilities available to assist them.
