Just before Easter, TADNSW held their second Trotting Night at Harold Park Paceway. Ninety guests turned out for the evening, with a quite a few familiar faces from the last trotting night in October last year.
Besides having a flutter or two on the harness racing going on throughout the evening, it was the silent and live auctions that had people digging deep.
A vote of thanks should be given to the generous sponsors who donated many of the items on the night and also to the special appearance by Mr Sold himself, Scott Gibbons who made the auction an enjoyable spectacle.
Guests enjoyed a plentiful seafood buffet and delicious dessert selection. This year TAD had more guests so they took advantage of two rooms, which allowed everyone to spread out.
Between races, a scrolling display of happy clients was shown and a small display of miniature devices and information about TAD's services was on show.
Event organiser, Melanie Gibbons made sure the event ran smoothly and that all guests had a good time. Despite the worries about the financial crisis, TAD's loyal supporters were still keen to donate, resulting in a successful fundraising event.
To be informed of any of TAD's upcoming events or fundraisers, contact Melanie at fundraising@tadnsw.org.au or phone (02) 9912 3406 to be put on our mailing list.
A big thank you to our event sponsors:
