TAD Founder George Winston AM |
The George Winston Communications Service is responsible for communicating “the TAD story” to disability networks, stakeholders and the general public through the TADJournal, our website, media releases and other broadcast methods. The Communications Service works closely with the other services and the Development Department to attract support to the organisation and provide media support for sponsorships.
The primary tool of communication for the service is the TAD Journal. The Journal contains profiles of TAD solutions and articles of interest from local and overseas rehabilitation and support groups. To subscribe to the TAD Journal, simply complete the online subscription form.
Another major publication is the FRI Booklet (or TAD Aid Book). This publication showcases some of the projects completed from previous years. Some items are frequently requested items while most are one-off designs that provide solutions for individual needs in a wide range of situations and age groups.
