Bill Phippen - President, Director
Bill has been a member of TADNSW for more than half his life. He was elected to the inaugural management committee of TAD in 1976 and has been on that committee and its successor, the Board of the incorporated organisation, continuously since then. He became Chair of the Board, now President, in 1997. Bill has qualifications in science and civil engineering and is self-employed as a domestic builder.

Malcolm Lye - Deputy President, Director
Malcolm graduated as a mining engineer and worked in Australia, Canada, the Phillipines and the USA. He was Corporate Affairs Manager with Pioneer from 1994 to 2000, and was General Manager, Corporate Affairs with Boral before he retired in 2001. Malcolm has been associated with TADNSW as a corporate sponsor for more than 15 years and was the Chair of the TADHouse fundraising campaign.

Bill Arnold - Director
Bill served in the Royal Navy and then worked in engineering and production management. He retired in 1983 and joined TADNSW as a Custom Designed Aids Service volunteer in 1990. He became a Board Member in 1998.

John Griffiths - Director
John served with the RAF until 1965 when he joined the Computer Service Division at IBM. He joined TADNSW after retiring in 1992 and was a technician in the early years of the Computer Support Service. He has also been involved in Custom Designed Aids projects and has been a member of our speakers bureau.

Bruce Hattersley - Director
Bruce is a graduate in aeronautical and industrial engineering and worked with Hawker de Havilland from 1957 until 1994. He joined TADNSW as a Custom Designed Aids Service volunteer in 2001 and was appointed to the Board the same year.

Hugh Howell - Director
Hugh spent 45 years in the metal industry, and worked in senior management positions at Rheem Australia for 25 years. He has been a member of WorkCover's Occupational Health and Safety and Rehabilitation Council and a Director of The Superannuation Trust of Australia.

Paul Hugh-Jones - Director
Paul's career has involved developing brand strategies in international marketing for blue chip businesses. Previously working for Mars, British Airways, Bacardi-Martini and Southcorp, he is currently Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development at Mallesons Stephen Jacques.

Mike Rollins - Treasurer, Director
A chartered accountant, Mike has held a number of senior financial positions in the printing, advertising and clothing and textile industries. In 1979 he joined advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi and worked with them in Sydney, New York, London and Singapore. He retired in 1996 and joined the TADNSW Board as Treasurer in January 2001.

Debra Stirling - Director
Debra has held senior positions with Coles Myer and CSR, and is currently Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations with the Rinker Group. Formerly a political journalist and financial reporter, Debra's recent work has focused on investor relations and issues management. She has been involved with TADNSW since the early 1990s.

Gail Tang-Demetriou - Director
Gail has worked as a social worker and policy officer in various disability services and programs. She has been Board member of Disabled Peoples International (NSW), and a member of People with Disabilities (NSW). She has been a TADNSW Board member since 1990, and has also been a client of the Custom Designed Aids Service.

Bill Todd - Director
Bill received a PMG Draftsman's Certificate in mechanical and structural design and worked as the Supervising Draftsman at Telstra before retiring after 42 years of service. He has been a Custom Designed Aids Service volunteer since 1992.

Monica Vardabasso - Director
Monica has worked in public relations and journalism for 25 years, and has been involved with TADNSW since the late 1980s. She has held senior positions with Telecom Payphone Services, Colgate-Palmolive and BOC Gases, and was most recently Managing Director of public relations consultancy Primary Communication. She now works in corporate affairs for Arup Australia.

Ian Young - Director
Ian is an electrical engineer. He worked in the electricity industry and also established a company to produce software for people with disabilities with his wife, who is a speech pathologist. He worked part-time in the Computer Support Service and is currently a CSS volunteer and a member of our speakers bureau.

Natasha Goulden - Director
Natasha has worked at national law firm Clayton Utz for 13 years and is a Senior Associate specialising in property and commercial law. She has been involved in volunteer work for many years, most recently with the Salvation Army. She also does substantial pro-bono legal work, winning the Clayton Utz Sydney Pro-Bono Lawyer Award in 2007. She has a small residential development business in Perth, is married and has two young daughters.

Peter Williamson - Director
Peter was the CEO and Company Secretary of the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney from 2004 to 2008,, and is now the Central Sector General Manager for the NSW Department of Health. Prior to this he worked in executive positions in the NSW health system. He is involved with many disability-related organisations and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives and an Australian Institute of Management Certified Health Executive.
