Bill Phippen - President, Director
A technical member of TAD since 1975. He has qualifications from the University of Sydney in science and civil engineering and is a licensed builder. Elected to the committee of management of TADNSW at the inaugural meeting in 1976 and has been a director continuously since that time. Vice Chair for several years and has been Chair since 1997.

Malcolm Lye - Deputy President, Director
Graduated as a Mining Engineer from the University of Sydney. Worked in Australia, Canada, the Philipines and the USA. Corporate Affairs Manager with Pioneer from 1994 to 2000. Retired in 2001 from position of General Manager, Corporate Affairs with Boral Limited. Associated with TADNSW as a corporate sponsor for more than 15 years.
Chair, TAD House Campaign.

Bill Arnold - Director
Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from London University. Served in the Royal Navy and then worked in engineering and production management in UK and Australia. Retired 1983 and joined TADNSW as a technical volunteer in 1990, the Board in 1998.
Chair, Engineering Advisory Committee Board sub-committee.

John Griffiths - Director
Served with Royal Australian Air Force until 1965 when he joined IBM and worked in the Computer Service Division in various roles from field service to training other engineers. After retiring in 1992, he joined TAD and was the technician in the early years of the Computer Loan Service. Over the years, John has been involved in various CDA projects and has taken part in TAD presentations to various interested groups.

Bruce Hattersley - Director
Educated Newington College and a graduate in Aeronautical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, University of NSW. Worked with Hawker de Havilland 1957-1994. Joined TADNSW as a volunteer in 2001 and appointed to the Board in that year.

Hugh Howell - Director
While he served an engineering apprenticeship, Hugh has never worked as a professional engineer, having moved into management roles at an early age. After managing Fidax Engineering for five years, he joined Rheem, where he spent twenty five years before retiring in 1994. During that period he held a number of plant management and general management roles.

Paul Hugh-Jones - Director
Born in UK, Paul has spent a career in international marketing for blue chip businesses. He started with Mars in UK, then moved to British Airways when the company was privatised. He then moved to Bacardi-Martini where he held a number of roles which moved him to several different countries, his final role being Global Marketing Director. Most recently, Paul has joined Mallesons Stephen Jaques as Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development. Paul is married with 2 sons - the family has decided to make Australia their permanent home.

Mike Rollins - Treasurer, Director
Qualified as a chartered accountant in 1960. He has held a number of senior financial positions in the printing, advertising and clothing and textile industries. In 1979, he joined Saatchi & Saatchi, a major international advertising agency and worked with them in Sydney, New York, London and Singapore. He retired in 1996 and joined the TADNSW Board as Treasurer in January 2001.

Debra Stirling - Director
Debra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Economics and has been involved in all aspects of journalism, government relations, issues management, investor communications and public affairs. She has held senior positions reporting to the Chief Executive Officers in three major Australian companies: Coles Myer Limited, CSR Limted and currently, Rinker Group Limited, where she is Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Investor Relations. Debra has been involved in supporting TAD since the early 90s.

Gail Tang-Demetriou - Director
Bachelor of Social Studies (1978) and Masters of Social Work (1990). She has worked as a social worker and policy officer in various disability services/programs. She is a former Board member of Disabled Peoples International (NSW), a member of People with Disabilities (NSW) and Disabled Peoples International (Australia). Gail has been a Board member since 1990 and served on a number of sub committees during that time. She is a person with a disability and has had TAD complete a number of projects for her.

Bill Todd - Director
Bill received a PMG Draftsman's Certificate (Mechanical & Structural Design) and worked as the Supervising Draftsman at Telstra before retiring after 42 years of service. Bill has been a technical volunteer with TAD's Custom Designed Aids Service since 1992.

Monica Vardabasso - Director
Monica has a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from UTS and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Sydney. Monica just recently joined the Corportae Affairs Department of Insurance Group of Australia. She was formerly Managing Director of Primary Communications, BOC Gases - South Pacific and Colgate Palmolive. Monica is married and a mother of two who is actively involved in her children's school activities. Her involvement with TAD goes back to the late 1980s.

Ian Young - Director
Ian graduated from University of Sydney in Science (1960) and Electrical Engineering (1962). He has worked in the electricity industry and, with his wife, a Speech Pathologist working with intellectually disabled adults, established a company to produce software to improve communication and general living skills of people with disabilities. Joined the staff of TADNSW on a part time basis in 1994 with the Computer Loans Service. Currently a technical volunteer for the CLS and a visiting speaker for TADNSW.

Natasha Goulden - Director
Natasha is a Senior Associate in Property Planning and Environment for leading law firm Clayton Utz. She was elected to the board in July 2007.

Peter Williamson - Director
Peter's involvement with TAD began while TAD was housed at Ryde. In his role as Chief Executive Officer of Ryde's Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney, Peter has enjoyed a long standing relationship with TADNSW. He joined the Board in late 2007 and hopes to continue to support TAD's efforts.
