Capping off an already successful year for TAD, the Fundraising Institute of Australia has honoured TAD yet again - this time for Best Capital Campaign.
In 2002, TAD Foundation launched the TADHouse: Reaching New Heights campaign to raise funds for a new building. This campaign (with its subsequent earnings) raised over $2.0 million.
After a two year delay, TADNSW purchased a property at Northmead for $2.43 million (excluding GST). In the final stages of the TADHouse campaign, a further $600,000 was needed to complete the purchase and fit out the new property.
The award acknowledges the hard work and effort from TAD's board, staff and volunteers, to realise TAD's dream of having their own premise, after more than 30 years housed at Ryde's Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney.
